1. Election of Officers

the year with a balance of $1,596.84 and ended with a current balance of

Facilities & Parks Capital
Projects Coordinator Dave Stauffer reported:
· Phase II 5.8 mile portion from
Vanguard to

extended to April 10

discussed and trail will be plowed, although not on weekends
· Phase III to complete the gap from
Exton Park to Ironlakes Blvd. has been awarded and work should start in March
and be completed in 8 months.
· Phase IV rfp for design should go
out this spring and design will begin this year. This 1 mile extension will
take the trail from

· Bob O’Leary read an update that
indicated they are hoping to complete final design in 12 months and advertise
for construction in early 2015

6. Historical Markers
· Bob O’Leary advised that the County
had received numerous proposals for the design and will interview the top 3
shortly and award a contract.
7. Board Items
· Tim Lander discussed the budget and
Board’s intention to develop a membership drive aimed at new members in the
section now opened.
· The Board is also planning to have
another executive meeting to finalize the budget and continue discussion on
items including: developing a landscaping improvements plan with the County,
Trail Ambassadors, underpass mural paintings, a tri-fold advertising map.
8. New Matters
· A discussion was held about the
possibility of coordinating 5k running events with those using
· Tim advised the Friends will be
represented at a Penn State Expo on April 10
